City of Sanford seeks applicants for Board vacancies The City of Sanford is currently seeking qualified applicants to fill vacancies on the Sanford Community Redevelopment Agency, Firefighters Retirement System Board, Historic Preservation Board, Planning & Zoning Commission, Sanford Airport Authority, and the Sanford Museum Board. Seminole County residency is required for members on the Sanford Airport Authority; City of Sanford residency is required for membership on the other boards. The City Commission will hold interviews of qualified applicants on September 8, 2014. If you would like to be considered please file a Board application by August 29, 2014.
