City officials are planning to extend downtown parking limits through next February during the Salem City Council meeting scheduled for 6:30 Monday night. Currently, there are three-hour limits for on-street parking in the downtown area, enforced between the hours of 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday. An action item set to come before the council will authorize the extension of those rules another year.
