City will host Ward 6 Check-In January 21 Want to know more about upcoming projects, developments and issues in your ward? Come listen to and speak with your councilperson, the city manager, city department heads, city staff and fellow ward residents at your Ward Check-In. This upcoming check-in will include presentations from the Director of Cultural Affairs and Regional Economic Development Inc. In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a simulation of the Capital Improvement Project (CIP) Ballot decision making process. Participants will have a chance to offer their own project ideas, and to sign up for the launch of the Citys online, interactive tool designed to collect citizen feedback on potential capital improvement projects. The Ward Check-In will be held for Ward 6 residents from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 21, in Room D of the Hillcrest Community Center, 1907 Hillcrest Drive in the Waters-Moss Memorial Wildlife Area. The Ward Check-In will be held biannually for each city ward. Check the citys website at GoColumbiaMo to see when and where the Ward Check-In meeting will be held in your ward.
