Civil Engineering Faculty Positions Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University PRINCE MOHAMMAD BIN FAHD UNIVERSITY (PMU) COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT OF CIVIL ENGINEERING AL-KHOBAR, KINGDOM OF SAUDI ARABIA The Department of Civil Engineering in the College of Engineering at PMU invites applications for multiple faculty positions starting Fall semester 2013 at the ranks of assistant, associate, and full professor. The following civil engineering areas of expertise are identified: (1) Environmental (water/wastewater and solid waste) (2) Water Resources/Hydrology (3) Transportation (4) Structural (5) Geotechnical (6) Construction Management and (7) Surveying and GIS. The successful candidates will be expected to: (1) teach undergraduate courses (2) develop graduate courses and programs and (3) develop funded research programs. Candidates must have an earned BS and Ph.D. degrees in civil engineering or environmental engineering from an accredited institution. Industrial experience, laboratory teaching experience, and professional registration are preferred. PMU offers a competitive tax free compensation package commensurate with rank and experience including 12 month salary, summer vacation, accommodation, annual round trip airfare to home country, medical insurance, assistance with school fees for children and end of service bonus.
