Civil Society is today reiterating its position that President Uhuru Kenyatta is offering little substantive leadership to the chronic structural problems confronting the country especially security and corrupt practices inside government . Mr. Kenyatta is failing to tackle head on the systematic and systemic problems embedded in the institutions of governance. He has wrong personnel assisting him in governing the country. However he is one responsible. He must be held to account to the people of Kenya and to the law of the land. If he cannot provide leadership of substance and tangible action, then he is the problem. Civil society does not acceptable ‘fall guys’ theory. It is the President culpable. Kenya Security Sector has irredeemably lost its reputation and credibility. Huge financial resources are allocated to security organs but there are no results. Civil society is offering tangible solutions on transforming security sector governance.
