Civility matters. Leadership that is civil inspires respect and trust among our citizens...even if we dont agree on all decisions. Without it, citizens lose hope about being engaged in the democratic process, and we lose an important component of what knits us together as a strong community. Early voting begins in 4 short days, and we can vote from 10am to 8pm from June 12th to June 19th at the Frederick Senior Center, Urbana Library, and Thurmont Library. The primary is June 24th! To our Republican friends, I hope that you will consider voting for Dave Gray instead of Blaine Young for County Executive, in District 5 Council for Ralph Whitmore instead of Kirby Delauter, and at-large for Justin Kiska instead of Billy Shreve. I hope we will find our way back to leadership that is civil and to Good Government! I have known and worked with Dave Gray as a community advocate for 20 years, and he is a man of integrity and experience, and is civil and respectful to ALL!
