Claiming poverty can be reduced by eliminating the minimum wage is like claiming you can slake your thirst by eating sand. Only in an age when the excesses and outright crimes of the wealthy go all but unchallenged can a proposal as ridiculous (and outright reprehensible) as ending the minimum (so minimum that it, in itself, is should be offensive to anyone possessing even a molecule of decency) wage not be met with the scorn and derision it deserves. What should be outlawed is obscene profit margins. Then working towards the understanding that capitalism is little more than a criminal activity. The exchange of goods and services is not capitalism. The practice, in reality, is the age old necessity of mercantile transactions…which the plundering class of the capitalist state has conflated with their system of wage and debt indenturing, enveloping commercial propaganda, and market rigging. The minimum wage should be rendered obsolete by the dismantling of the system that brought it into existence -- by the shattering and re-visioning of the Paradigm Of The Greedhead Psychopath And The Desperate Dupe. Eliminate the minimum wage by ridding the culture of the dismal and degrading criteria that makes it necessary. How dare the privileged coerce the laboring class into catering for their plush, pink asses an obscenely lavish and perpetual feast, force the rest of us to clean up the mess they make, and then proclaim that the problem is…that the malnourished help was allowed to eat a few scraps that fell from the table of their Bacchanal Of The Soulless.
