Clap Season: This 2014-2015 season will be CLAP season because we need to show appreciation for our fellow marchers when they do a good or great job on the floor. For some unknown reason teams seem to believe that when you clap for an opposing team that it lowers your own score. This is totally untrue. Sportsmanship is a great asset and we all should possess it. The Peewees even feel the heat and wonder did they do okay. With the absence of applauds sometimes they cannot tell and we need to make them feel as though they have done good. The same way you encourage your own child the message should be sent to someone elses. And when you clap please dont do a pity clap which shows your hands barely touching. These are our babies and they need every inch of support our bodies can muster. I dare someone to clap for the opposition!!
