Clarence took his freedom ride today from the Animal Shelter of Pell City, AL. The Nolan’s picked him up and he is now at Hope Animal Clinic where he will begin his road to recovery! Today, he will be bathed and get those toe nails trimmed up. He tested positive for sarcoptic mange, so we’ll be isolating him for 2 weeks until he’s no longer contagious. On a positive note, he is heart worm NEGATIVE! Praise God for that! Once he puts on some weight, he’ll go into surgery to be neutered and have his teeth cleaned, as well as, have some removed. Poor Clarence is blind in his left eye, and the right eye appears to either be sunken in the socket, or could be micro eye. When he goes into surgery, they’ll be able to explore the eye more. They are doing eye tests today to be sure he’s not in any pain. Based on the condition of his teeth, the doctor says he is at least 10 years old, if not more. Please continue to pray for Clarence and share his story! To donate to help us fund his care, please visit twobytworescue and click DONATE. If you’d like to mail a donation instead, you may at P.O.
