(062) 991-8409, 991-8506, 991-8303, Fax No. 992-2824 ___________________________________________________________ ADVISORY With the Claretian spirit, Claret School of Zamboanga City has earnestly embraced peace amidst the crisis situation in Zamboanga City. In our collaborative efforts with the Claretian community—the School, the Parish and the ZABIDA—we have extended assistance and generosity to help the victims of the said crisis and likewise helped one another in coping with the situation. Now, we face the greater challenge of helping our own students face the social and humanitarian turmoil. There is a need to stand with greater strength and vigor with the inspiration of faith and resiliency so as not to be overwhelmed by fear, paranoia and despair. As we try to reclaim the normalcy of our life situation, we have to redesign an Alternative Learning Scheme that would address the need to learn within the context of fragile security. PRE-SCHOOL The parents of preschoolers are requested to see the Pre-school teachers on October 8, 2013 for some instructions on home-based learning modules. 3. NIGHT HIGH SCHOOL Night High School Students have to report from 8:00 in the morning till 4:00 in the afternoon of October 13, 19, and 25. 4. OFFICIAL TIME FOR REGULAR STUDENTS The official time shall be 7:00 in the morning till 4:00 in the afternoon. No student shall be allowed to leave the campus within the said period. Parents/Guardians are advised not to take their children out for lunch. 5. SCHOOL UNIFORM Students shall come to school in their P.E. t-shirts, jeans and closed shoes (preferably rubber shoes). Students must wear their I.D. as they enter the campus. 6. SECURITY STANDARD Upon entering the campus, everyone, even students, shall have their bags checked by the security personnel. The waiting area shall be reserved to a parent or guardian who has the gate pass. Crowding in the area shall not be allowed. 7. SECURITY PERSONNEL The School has requested the Philippine National Police to secure the external premises of the campus. Internal security will continue to be in place with the additional Emergency Response Teams to be positioned in strategic locations. 8. GATE AND TRAFFIC The main gate of the School shall be used by all students as the entrance and exit points. May the prayerful intercessions of the Immaculate Heart of Mary and St. Anthony Mary Claret help us in these trying times as we continue to journey with hope.
