Class Schedule Survey Results Thank you to all who took the time to fill out our latest class schedule online or at the studio. Your feedback is important to the success of our business, and most importantly, changing your body to be healthier, stronger and happier! there were 32 surveys that came in and were reviewed. here are the results: 78% of you are very satisfied to extremely satisfied with the type of classes, variety of classes and over all performance of Power Up! Fitness. 13-16% were satisfied and only 1 person (4%) was unsatisfied. In more detail, 62-65% are very satisfied to extremely satisfied with the class schedule times and days, length of classes and time between classes. 16-20% were unsatisfied to satisified with the schedule, time and length. And it looks like were doing ok with the instructors and equipment. The specific questions about the length of classes and time change- 86% of you are happy with them and 17% not happy. The specific question about the times of the classes on Fridays and Saturdays- about 50% of you are fine with the times, about 30% dont even come in to classes on Fridays or Saturdays and 16-20% would either like an earlier time on Saturdays for Boot Camp and/or Zumba. There were several comments, however some comments didnt have a name or email that I could directly respond to. So i pulled out some specific ones that I wanted to respond to. Length of classes: January we shortened our class length to 45 minutes, shortened the time in between classes to 5 minutes instead of 15 minutes and added more classes for a bigger variety. On our original class schedule, ALL of our Total Power Sculpt, TNT and Ball Pilates classes technically were 45 minutes long- ALL of them. They were slotted on the schedule for an hour long class. We have not changed the Total Power Sculpt Class in its time length on our new schedule, but we have shortened our warm up and cool down in our Ball Pilates class to compensate for the shortened time frame- the intensity in these classes are still the same if not more. Our cardio classes have indeed been shortened, HOWEVER, the intensity has increased and the warm up and cool down has been shortened to compensate for the extra 10 minutes lost. If you have a heart rate monitor, i encourage you to wear it during the cardio classes to keep track of your heart rate and intensity. Weve had several of our clients check in with us to confirm that they are still working just as hard as they did with the hour-long classes. The time between classes was shortened so that we COULD offer a third class in the morning and afternoon. Also, it helps with keeping you warm and ready to go for the next class! Sundays are a day of rest for the instructors at Power Up! Fitness. I know that I need to spend time with my family, at church and doing household chores- and it all usually happens on Sunday so I can be ready for all of you on Monday! And that is why we have no classes on Sunday at this time. Please, if you have questions or concerns about your intensity in ANY of the classes, feel free to talk with me or message me through FaceBook and i would be happy to answer you. I did have 1 person comment about not really liking our move into the MarVal Shopping Center, the parking was an issue and questioned whether or not the move offered more room. My response: Im sorry . I really dont know what else to say to that. We were busting at the seams at the other place, and the parking at the old location was even MORE of an issue. Now, there is usually a space to park; you just might have to walk a little further! And thats ok, right? Who wouldnt want to burn a few more calories? My husband, who is also my partner in this business, and I thought long and hard and prayed even harder on this move. There is really nothing in Valley Springs that is larger than where Power Up! currently is, that offers the option of air conditioning in the summer. The only other place that might be a bigger, more suited place is currently occupied by my competition on Highway 26; and Im confident in saying, thats not going to be an option anytime soon! Unfortunately, there is no room to expand and put in another bathroom. If we did, it would take up the space for the future changing stations. in the mean time, if you need to change clothes for class and the bathroom is occupied, please ask to use the weigh-in room. You are more than welcome to. Ball storage- if you are petite and cant reach the balls on the highest storage shelf, there is a wooden stick to pop the ball out of the shelf for you to use. Cant put it back? Not a problem! Leave it in the back and well put it up for you at the end of class or the end of the day! Ultimately, Were never going to please everyone. But we sure are gonna try! Your opinions are important to us. Well be looking at the schedule in the future to see where we can tweek and adjust to be more suited to your needs. Continue to let us know how were doing ! Thank you again! Jenn Scheidt
