Class on Tuesday (November 5) US1 - Today we closed out or look - TopicsExpress

Class on Tuesday (November 5) US1 - Today we closed out or look at the main events which lead to rising tension between the British government and their colonial subjects. We discussed the Stamp and Townshend Acts along with the colonists protests to them, some peaceful and some not so much (looking your way tar and feathering). Ill post a link for all the notes after this post. Next time well dive deep into the events of the Boston Massacre / Riot. US2 - We got back to the trenches today and looked deeper into what it was like to be a soldier fighting in WWI. After that we discussed your battle plans to attempt to break the stalemate and then saw how both the Allied and Central Powers attempted, but failed, to do the same. Ill post a link for those notes after this post. Gov - Todays focus was the 2nd Amendment and gun laws as we kicked off the first of our two classroom debates. Nice job overall with the activity. Be sure to keep up the efforts next class when we move into our second debate about the 8th Amendment and the death penalty. Also be sure to have you debate planner packet complete and ready to be handed in for Thursday.
