Classic Paul Rochon Moments in History: #33-9a When he burst through the door ranting and raving I just had the woooorst experience! The Dollar Store lady just flipped out on me! He was recently banished to the dollar store by his spouse until he could return with dish soap and more specifically anything but Palmolive. He begins first by setting his newly procured items on the counter, then the coffee cup. He begins to narrate, So I went to the dollar store and I grabbed the soap... (He probably got a good deal) and I got the candy bars and oh yeah, remember I bought this coffee mug from there a while back.. As he holds up his once full coffee mug he left the house with before his banishing with wry face and crooked smile and with some affront says , So Im in line and I set my stuff all down on the counter and reached in my wallet for money and the lady at the checkout grabbed my cup and tried to swipe it and spilled coffee all over the belt!! (And herself Im assuming) He continues, Then she started freaking out for no reason... But I told her, its okay, you get paid the same no matter what. Who do YOU think was in the wrong here? My father, for recklessly bringing a ceramic mug that he had purchased in the past from the same establishment full of coffee and setting it on the checkout counter. OR The check out lady who recklessly grabbed a full coffee mug and tossed out perfectly great coffee without even considering that it felt heavy or hot or that he was drinking from it just moments before the incident? You decide. Oh, and he got Palmolive.
