Classic album of the day is Blind Guardian - Battalions Of Fear (1988) 83/100 Here are my comments - feel free to give yours Majesty - 93/100; Guardian Of The Blind - 87/100; Trial By The Archon/Wizards Crown - 79/100; Run For The Night - 88/100; The Martyr - 73/100; Battalions Of Fear - 81/100; By The Gates Of Moria - 67/100; (Gandalfs Rebirth - 58/100) The first two Blind Guardian albums were a decent enough intro to a band that would go on to become leaders in the power metal movement. Not so much of the big choruses and orchestration here, its more of a melodic thrash album, but still there is some great songwriting which was only to get better with subsquent albums youtu.be/Q9WJh6ioEPQ
