I wanted to take a moment to tell you a little about a program I am excited about in Chicago. Dr. Marilyn Mitchell, Board Certified in Holistic, Integrative Medicine has been preparing energy healers to learn the ins and outs of working with hospitals, physicians, nurses and all hospital personnel. I have been working with her over the last few months to help bring Reiki practitioner/teachers into her amazing program. Its a fabulous opportunity. Marilyn has welcomed Jikiden Reiki into her practice and looks forward to a rewarding collaboration. In March, I will teach Shoden with Jotaro Kashihara to her healing practitioners. Specifically, she is welcoming Reiki practitioners and teachers to spend time integrating already honed healing capacities with the requirements for successful integration into medical systems. The program is composed of three different aspects of preparation: An Introduction to Healing Practitioners in a Medical Setting course, 3 different courses in an Evolutionary Series of trainings designed to enhance the self knowledge of healers. Those who successfully complete the preliminary courses can then apply for the yearlong internship (HEALING PRACTITIONERS MEDICAL INTERNSHIP PROGRAM. Workshop for Healers Introduction to a Medical Setting This workshop is an opportunity for healers to explore working in a medical setting. Participants must have successfully completed a formal training program for a healing modality and currently maintain an active healing practice. This workshop is a prerequisite for the Healing Practitioner Medical Internship Program which will begin Fall 2015. __ January 30-31 or February 6-7 9am-4pm __ Early Registration: $225* Registration: $250 *Early Registration by Jan 16 for Jan 30-31, by Jan 23 for Feb 6-7 Full payment is required to reserve a space in workshops.
