Classicamente: Notes on Lake Maggiore 07.07.2014 - 31.07.2014 From July 7th to 31st, in Verbania, A Date with Music in the Villa Giulia Park A panoramic view of the lake and the beautiful surroundings of the Villa Giulia park in Verbania, and a month of events dedicated to classical music. From July 7th to 31st, Classicamente, the traditional summer event, offers the public performances by artists from all over Italy, in the lush, 19th-century garden overlooking the Piedmont side of Lake Maggiore. It starts with the inaugural event on July 7th, the screening of a documentary dedicated to the maestro Arturo Toscanini, one of the greatest conductors of all time that chose the Isolino of San Giovanni, the small island of the archipelago of the Borromee on Lake Maggiore, in the municipality of Verbania, as his residence from 1927 to 1952. Classicamente continues, on July 9th, with the orchestra of the Teatro Regio in Turin, which is also linked to the name of the great master, which with the notes of Once Upon a Time, Cinema... revives soundtracks and the emotions of the the big screen. And, again, the festive rhythms of Brazilian music, on July 10th; the intense atmospheres dl gospel (16th) and a tribute to Arturo Toscanini on the fiftieth anniversary of his death, on July 17th.
