Cleansing tips Day 11: Eat more plants! Better for the body! Better for the planet! Ive been teetering back and forth with vegetarianism for 8 years. My longest stint was 9 months back in 2007. It was great, except I didnt know how to be a healthy vegetarian...I was more like a carbotarian. Anything that was quick and high in carbs I inhaled, needless to say, I crashed hard! Foggy head, quick loss of energy, unhealthy weight loss, and always hungry. Lets fast forward to now...8 years later. My eating habits have changed A LOT for the better mainly because Ive become more conscious of my body, mind and life! I still teeter with being full on vegetarian...Id say Im about 80% and Im okay with that. Knowing your body, your food, how it affects your body, the healing properties, and how can it sustain you throughout the day are important factors to keep in mind when changing eating patterns.
