Clear to partly cloudy skies for the morning rush today with temperatures in the mid 20s to lower 30s. Clouds will slowly increase today so this afternoon is shaping up partly sunny. High today from 55 to 60. Clouds thicken tonight. A cold rain arrives later tomorrow morning and stays with us through midday Saturday. If the rain comes in faster then we could see a few pockets of sleet or wet snow around the Interstate 40 Corridor for an hour or two. Temperatures will only be 35 to 40 during the time the rain falls. Clearing will swing in later Saturday. Sunday looks milder with scattered clouds. Colder air settles in early next week. Long range data suggesting an extremely cold first week of February! Stay tuned!
