Clearance Officer DAl Group Position summery: The responsible employee will manage the Customs and Clearance processes of all inbound & outbound shipments related to DAL Group companies ensuring timorous reporting on progress to the required parties. Main Duties & Responsibilities: · Liaison with operational planning unit (OPU) and the logistics departments within the BUs. · Maintain a very good relationship with the governmental/authority bodies in connection to his/her area of operations · Expedite solutions of any problems that may arise in relation to clearance processes · Ensure compliance of all the necessary customs’ clearance documentation, its accuracy and complete/ready for submission to concerned authorities · Follow up orders; expedite delivers with customs authorities and air lines; communicate to stakeholders the expected delivery date. · Completing the goods receipt process – documents etc. · Providing step by step reporting and updates of process on daily basis to the relevant stake holders. Highlight delays and plan of action. · Any other activity that may be required in order to manage the entire clearance of shipments. · Record keeping of and providing all the relevant financial information regarding the various shipments to the relevant finance departments. (This include customs charges and any related cost) · Eliminate any unplanned cost Minimum Qualification & Experience: B.Sc. degree in business or equivalent. ASYCODA ++++ certificate ASYCODA World certificate Fluent in English (writing, speaking) Required Skills & Knowledge: One to three years experience in supply chain/logistics management or equivalent experience is required; High level of experience in the field , working with Customs and Clearance entities; Ability to prepare management reports; The individual must have good inter-personal skills that required for interaction with all levels of management both inside and outside the organization; Must have effective written and oral communications skills; Good ability to work with team as well as on his own, under pressure but within great understanding of being a service provider for the various teams and business units (BUs); High level of Computer usage ability.
