Clearing our conscience may take on the form of many things. - TopicsExpress

Clearing our conscience may take on the form of many things. Unconfessed sin and heart issues that prevent us from feeling we have done anything to be forgiven of. The examples given today will help us to see that our smallest "hidden sin" just may be the very thing that is keeping us from growing in our walk with the Lord. Last night we were confronted with some great truth. Growing in our relationship with Jesus means we have to seek Him. A word picture was painted about how small neglect in simple task or acting out of duty instead of love can impact our love. Most of us would not come home, not speak to our husband, just clean clothes, set food in front of them and not engage is some kind of verbal exchange. In the same way we can not ignore our loving savior by missing time with him, talking to him, allowing his word to speak to our heart. Getting our quiet time in is paramount. Yes, just 5 minuets is a start. Perhaps you think you do not have time. In essence, we all have the same amount of time 24 hours a day. it is up to us to manage the time God has given us. Amazingly, when we give God the first part of our day, it goes so much more smoothly. Those days we feel rushed and are just barely getting out of the door can hurt us more than we think. Just taking a moment and thanking god for getting you up in the morning. AS we wash our face, being of a merry heart, sining in your shower to the glory of God are just some simple ways we can start. Spending time at the feet of Jesus is the better part. It will prompt us to clear out those hidden things that cause us to fall into sin. Under His Shadow! Psalm 91:1
