Clearing skies in the wake of snowfall this morning in western - TopicsExpress

Clearing skies in the wake of snowfall this morning in western Washington has made for some stellar views. Ceilings for the most part have broken, and are above 5000 feet where they are lingering. However, the weather is not completely benign, with strong northerly winds still a hazard to aviation and other interests from Bellingham, across the San Juan Islands, southward into Puget Sound. The last panel here shows a model depiction of the winds at 1 pm PST. Expect these winds to ease more substantially after 6-7 pm.
