Clearing up more misconception on the Metro Government, per the mailing sent out by the Haywood against Metro Government Group: Metro Will NOT take away any ones right to vote - some positions will become appointed instead of elected. Those positions will be Trustee, Registrar, County Clerk and Assessor of Property. There will also be qualifications for these positions, the persons appointed will either need a relevant bachelors degree or equivalent experience. A qualified appointee would be much better than an inexperienced electee.
