Cleaving to that which is good...This is where Emperors Rule, and Dictators Dictate. This is where the rubber meets the role for Leaders in this Country. This is how Salesmen and Sales Ladies Sell! This is the important lesson for a child, and the most important lesson for an Authority Figure, and the Most Important Lesson for a Salesman or a Sales Lady! Its fun, but it is so important and serious at the same time. Cleave to that which is good! Once again, from Biblegateway, the words of our own Apostle Paul: Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.10 Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another; 11 not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord; Cleave to what is good? What does that mean to a child? Whats good, Mommy? He or she asks. Good is as good does. Along that line, Ive changed my position regarding President Barack Obama. I think, if I had been in his shoes, Id done the same thing. Now, his job is not my job. And maybe I dont know the people around him, or his best friends. But, I know this: the US Military has done an OUTSTANDING JOB at dealing with ISIS. And the President is the Commander in Chief. So, bad as I hate to admit it, yes, Barry, you scored some high points in my book because you kept America Safe. Now, what should a Salesman or a Sales Lady do upon entering the customers office? Well, what should a child do upon meeting a new friend? A new playmate? How bout a smile? Repetition, or rote learning is the key, and if I have repeated myself on this one point, then you better get it, or Ill just keep on emphasizing it: Smile. Be Happy. Be in a Good Mood. Be Straight. And, Be Honest. No one is going to buy from someone who is not in a good mood. No one is going to buy from someone who is drinking. No one is going to buy from someone who is angry. Simply, no one. Now that is certainly true in Oklahoma, but I bet it is true in Pennsylvania. Who wants to deal with a jerk? Who wants to deal with someone who already has an ATTITUDE? Who? Professional salespeople know when to stay in the car, or go home. Children that are popular know when to go to their locker and get out their books and read. OU Football Players know when its best to take a shower. Dont leave home without a good Attitude. Now, think about it. What makes you the best? Your tennis shoes? I dont think so. Your way of life? Probably not. Your cologne? Hey, cheap perfume is no better, and it smells better on her, so why dont you let her wear the good smellin stuff? Are you crazy? No, thats not what makes OU, OSU, and OCU the best. Its not what makes Oklahoma the Best, and we are. Its your attitude. Your bearing. Your compose. Who and What You Are when you walk into the Customers Office. So get it together.
