Cleopatras owner passed away and if the Ac&c has its way tomorrow so will she. Please share and advocate for her before it is to late.... A volunteer writes: Beautiful Cleopatra came to us with friends Ed Kenway and Macchiavelli. They were found as strays and are quite shaken up by their ordeal as it is as clear as crystal that they were family dogs just yesterday....They seem to share a Shepie as a common ancestor and are all on the well nourished side... Cleopatra, what a well deserved name for a gorgeous dog with enthralling eyes and the loveliest coat in the shades of latte and cream. She is so scared in her kennel but never aggressive. She does not want to come out for a walk. Her neighbours barking is too much for her to take..I hand feed her. She takes delicately roastbeef from my hand. I sit on the edge of her den, talk to her and pet her. She accepts my caresses with such sweet eyes. Cleopatra must be such a lovely dog...I think that Cleo can be convinced to exit her kennel and mingle with the rest of us, maybe with her housemates and other pooches in playgroups. I hope that soon enough, though, gentle Cleopatra will find her way to a loving home and make a new owner happy to have picked her as a forever best friend. Cleopatra is at the Manhattan Care Center.
