Cleveland City Councilman Joe Cimperman fights for food justice every day for low-income individuals located in St. Clair- Superior, Midtown, Downtown, Tremont, Ohio City, Duck Island, Old Brooklyn and Brooklyn Centre in the Cleveland area. He recognizes the disparities in health between inner city and suburban residents. Recognizing these disparities, he helped implement a program in which social assistance can be used at Cleveland’s farmer markets.
