Clever Germany will soon have 30 per cent renewable energy powering the entire country. Pretty amazing, considering Germany is one of the largest industrialised economies in the world. Meanwhile, in Australia we can prepare for governments to keep holding us back in allegiance with the fossil fuel industry, without the strong will of the people to oppose them. Amazing that in Germany, despite the extra costs being passed on to the population to pay for the transformation, people are still on the streets demanding even more ambitious targets…
