Cliche post of the year may go to me…. Though being that you were one of the first evidences I ever had of love, it would be heedless of me not to honour such a fine hearted specimen of a sister. Flashing back on all those glum childhood memories of your easy accessible and highly embarrassing “greeting string” on the toilet door when I had friends over, the multiple times you’ve convinced me to trust you with your outofnowhere barber skills, the time you asked me to check your toast in the oven and singed and gone were the hairs on my face. While you surely had me fused with fury for majority of my childhood, you were right each time when you would scream: “THIS IS FUNNY ZANITA!” and I’ll admit now with thanks - my life has been uniquely entertaining because of your brightly entertaining sense of humour. You are a great luxury; a solid proof that this world is a dichotomy between good and bad. Because you’re so far from special that one has to feel infinitely proud to have you around and it’s hard to think that such a wholesome person exists. Most of the time I’m led to believe you’re the only other one who understands things quite like I do and sometimes I wonder if we have this additional section to our brains which holds another entirely level of thought and wisdom. Thanks for taking steer of the bandwagon on so many occasions. I’m sure Levi would back me up in saying you’ve added the greatest flare to this exceptional sibling clan we have. Taking every moment of this day to appreciate the simple fact that YOU out of all Gods billions and trillions of creations, were chosen to be my sister. Happy Birthday Raq. xxx
