Click On: DoctorAdvice4u/ * CANADA: POST TROPICAL STORM ANDREA (45 mph, 7 PM ADT) - LIVE Satellites, Radar, Maps, Track, Blog, Information on website ---- BLOG (7:00 PM ADT) --- Post-tropical storm Andrea is moving into the Fundy shore of Nova Scotia along a warm front that extends ahead of the low. Rain at times heavy associated with the system has spread across much of the Maritimes and has started over Southwestern Newfoundland this afternoon. The South Coast of Newfoundland will receive heavy rain tonight into Sunday morning. The centre of the remnant low is expected to track across Northern Nova Scotia late this afternoon and tonight and then just south of Newfoundland before crossing the Avalon Peninsula on Sunday. Ponding of water along the roads and hrydroplaning will be a problem, as well as local flooding, especially along the smaller rivers and streams.
