Samedi Chicken Serves 6 A great chicken and gravy dish that is full of flavor with a little fun kick at the end Prep Time - 10 min Cook Time - 35 min Total Time - 45 min Ingredients 1 1/2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breast 1/2 tsp salt 1 tsp pepper 3 tsp chili powder 2 tsp onion powder 2 tsp garlic powder 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper 2 tbsp. butter, divided 2 cups fat free half & half 1 tsp corn starch 1 tsp water Instructions 1.In a small bowl combine salt, pepper, chili powder, onion powder, garlic powder and cayenne pepper 2.Sprinkle spice combo on both sides of the chicken 3.In a large sauté pan, over medium heat, melt 1 tbsp. of butter 4.Cook chicken until cooked through, about 8-10 minutes on first side and 6-8 minutes on the second side, or until juices run clear 5.Remove cooked chicken and set aside 6.In the same sauté pan melt remaining butter and add in half & half, stirring to loosen any bits in the bottom of the pan 7.In a small bowl combine corn starch and water until smooth 8.Pour corn starch into cream mixture and stir to combine 9.Bring cream to a slow boil, then reduce heat to low and let simmer for 8-10 minutes or until it thickens 10.Serve gravy or chicken 11.ENJOY!!
