Click through and look at how the New York Times used HTML5 for journalism in a very beautiful and effective way. Its like they took some of the bells and whistles used to make The Verge cool and applied them intentionally to make the story flow. As you scroll down the page, photos flow into text that flows into video, and since the overall story tells smaller stories along a train ride between St. Petersburg and Moscow, a map on the left gets highlighted as the journey and story progresses. The future of journalism will be so much better without paper.
