Clickbaity headline, but the TL;DR: version is that bendgate - TopicsExpress

Clickbaity headline, but the TL;DR: version is that bendgate appears to be youtube clickbait fraud that global click bait media were more than happy to jump on. A whole 9 actual customer complaints of bent phone in the first 6 days of sales... thats out of 10 million iPhone 6s, BTW. Theres video of Apples stress testing facility out too, if you care to watch. It would be a bit weird if the most profitable smartphone company in the world failed to test their flagship product for the normal things that people do with it (like stick it in their pocket and sit on it). Turns out, they do test that. Also, anyone remember antenna gate? How the iPhone 4 was supposed to have terrible reception? And then the problem mysteriously went away with no actual changes to the phone, but Apple published some pictures of their fancy antenna testing facility (duh)? Hrm, yeah. businessinsider.au/iphone-6-bending-a-non-issue-2014-9
