Client called needing to know what was being shared about him on the Internet. Liar Catchers computer Forensics division suggested a simple search to figure that out. Using the quotation marks around his name or phone number only John Doe and/or 859-555-1212 and hit search. In each search engine, Yahoo, Google, MSN, Bing etc. Since his name was very UNCOMMON this worked easily. If the name were more common, we would have suggested another entry after his name to read city and state John Doe lexingtonKY this would eliminate all but those with the same name in the same city and state. Client found all of the comments posted about him. Liar Catchers was glad to assist. Liar catchers is hoping this technique will assist others in investigations of their own.
