Clients/Photogs: What are your thoughts on the editing process of your final photos? Currently for weddings, I offer approximately 1000 edited images, retouch all skin etc...is that a waste of time when some of the photos you dont even like? I am thinking about limiting my photos for clients going forward and letting them select their favourites to be edited. Im spending weeks on photos that some of you may not even choose for your final album/print. My favourites definitely are not some of your favourites as we all interpret art differently. Its hard to please everyone. If you include even the not so technically perfect photos, you are open to criticism but how is it up to me to delete someones memory they have paid for? Whats to say they wont love a certain photo that I deem not great? Thoughts? Trying to figure out a seamless workflow and how to please everyone, or at least the masses.
