He was a legendary stuntman/stunt coordinator who, firstly doubled and performed stunts for Duke, as well as playing bit parts Second Unit Director, to John Ford and then Duke. Though you have probably barely noticed him, he was involved in at least twenty-seven movies with Duke, some credited and many uncredited!! He worked with Duke on movies including Dark Command (1940), Fort Apache (1948), The Searchers (1956), The Alamo (1960), and The Green Berets (1968). and Chisum (1970), etc.
