Directly liaise with the consultant/ Engineer/ Architect or Client Contractual follow-up; Solve all contractual matters of the project To verify and ensure that all the general procedures of the company are fully adhered to Choose a particular supplier and/or Sub-Contractor up to a certain limit over which he must seek the approval of the Top Management. Designating responsibilities to all the office staff covering Administration, Technical, Time keeping and Stores. Validates architectural, structural and electro-mechanical options Result forecast and budget control preparation Issues/requests variation orders Organization and follow up of mail handling and documents flow Prepares all the Sub-Contract Agreements Follow up all the contractual issues related to the Joint Venture when it exists Relations with neighbors/local authorities Progress statements preparation Weekly/monthly meetings The candidate should have a minimum of 2-3 years similar experience. The Ideal Candidate should have previous experience of working with professional fit out contracting companies with their in-house workforce. Candidate should have a Good communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work successfully in a multinational environment. In Addition, a Very strong technical and execution abilities is necessary. Also Candidate has to be a Computer literate (AutoCAD, MS Projects, MS Office). Having Local driving license would be given preference. The role is to manage the project at site including resource planning, materials planning, execution management of site supervisors, productivity of labourers at site, co-ordination with the clients at site, management of inspections and handover, wastage management, completion within deadlines, raising variation claims through the QS, etc. (2) HVAC Engineer (Mechanical Engineer) - 4,000 AED Mechanical engineering with minimum 2-3 years local engineering experience preferably within a multi disciplinary consultancy environment, should be able to develop innovative designs, Manage Calculations for heating and cooling loads using computer software related to HVAC design, Understanding of QA/QC Processes, Excellent communication skills Also Candidate has to be a Computer literate (AutoCAD, MS Projects, MS Office). Reviews coordination and selection of MEP systems for projects. Offers technical input related to the cost and feasibility of various designs. Develops breakdown budgets that outline the cost of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems. Reviews, produces and submits technical documents for the projects completion. Supervises the work performed by the subcontractors. Ensure adherence to the projects specifications and according to the time schedule. Acts as a liaison between different parties working on the project. Coordinate all MEP trade workers with the projects superintendent, subcontractors and project team, as well as manage communication between the subcontractors, field staff, project team and clients. Takes off quantities from shop drawing and match it with site and BOQ Perform Value engineering of the MEP works in hand and propose cost effective alternative solutions if requested. Ability to produce weekly and monthly MEP progress reports. (3) Estimator Fitout Assistant (Foreman) – 2,800 AED Responsible for estimation process Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents Computes costs by analyzing labour, material, and time requirements Presents prepared estimate by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends Maintains cost data base by entering and backing up data Understanding drawings and joinery technical issues Visiting sites to gather information needed Skills Estimating, MS Excel, MS Project will be advantage. AutoCAD will be advantage. Education Technical as joinery or civil (4) Carpenter In-charge – 1400 AED Carpenters are responsible for constructing, installing, erecting, and repairing fixtures and structures made from wood and other materials. They know how to use different construction tools like small hand tools, saws, drills, and a wide variety of mechanized tools. These professionals cut and shape different materials and then use screws, nails, staples, or adhesives to join them. They may work in the building of bridges and highways, installing kitchen cabinets, among other duties. Carpenters usually perform many of the following tasks: • Building stairs. • Installing cabinets. • Using power tools. • Joining materials. • Shaping wood. Skills • Being physically fit. • Having knowledge of building codes. • Being able to perform measuring, sizing, and cutting tasks. • Having strong mechanical aptitude. • Being able to solve mathematical problems. • Having manual dexterity. • Being able to interpret drawings and diagrams. • Having good sense of balance. • Being able to use machinery. • Having good eye-hand coordination. . (5) Electrician – 1300 AED Installs as well as repairs wiring, fixtures, and also equipment for all electrical services aboard ship plus in shipyard facilities, following blueprints wiring diagrams Installs conduit to bulkheads with brackets screws, using handtools plus threads wires through conduit to terminals, like connection boxes, circuit breakers, voltage regulators plus switch panels Strips insulation from wire ends & solders ends to terminals, using stripping pliers soldering iron Connects power-supply circuits to radio, radar, sonar, fire control, and also other electronic equipment Tests electrical characteristics, like voltage, resistance, and also phase angle, in circuits, using voltmeters, ohmmeters, and also phase rotation indicators May construct instrument panels, using handtools, rulers, dividers, and also power drills, following specifications (6) A\C Assistant – 1300 AED HVAC assistants help with the installation of furnaces, air conditioning, and duct work. They perform duties such as furnishing tools, materials, and supplies to HVAC technicians; cleaning work areas, machines, and tools; and holding materials or tools.
