Clint Eastwood and Hollywood released their movie, American - TopicsExpress

Clint Eastwood and Hollywood released their movie, American Sniper, based on the autobiography and life of Chis Kyle. The anti-military and anti-capitalist leftist filmmaker, Michael Moore, recently called Chis Kyle and other American snipers cowards. Why do Hollywood and the media establishment continue supporting Moore’s filth and fiction, which he propagates as facts? The Hollywood Left loves blacklisting Conservatives and Christians, in general, for their beliefs in an attempt to silence their God-fearing and freedom-loving worldview in the entertainment industry. They may not agree with the Conservative belief in American Exceptionalism, and the Christian belief in a Creator God and moral absolutes. Nevertheless, stories that celebrate our own country’s uniqueness and exceptionalism, and faith-based stories that celebrate hope and redemption, are uplifting and inspiring stories of Americana and Faith. What kind of country are we if we want the stories that celebrate the anti-freedom and anti-American stories that ridicule faith in a Creator God? American Sniper is not a warm and fuzzy film about the “awesomeness” of being a sniper in the American military, because it is not “awesome.” I have not seen the film yet, but from what I have heard about it, it does a good job of capturing the struggles that military snipers go through. I think the average American who has not been in the military, I include myself in that group, can tend to glamorize military life and being a military sniper. The media and pop culture is a big factor for Americans glamorizing military life. What Michael Moore said about American snipers and Chris Kyle was vile and evil. It was way out of line. It is one thing to criticize American involvement in wars and military campaigns around the world, but those in the Armed Forces put themselves in harm’s way to defend Moore’s freedom to disagree with policymakers. We should show them our gratitude and respect, even if we disagree with the mission and reason for going to war. Instead of blacklisting the pro-American and pro-Faith filmmakers and entertainers, Hollywood should blacklist Michael Moore’s works of filth and fiction. truthdispatch/what-hollywood-should-do-to-michael-moore/
