Clinton Global Initiative University (CGI U) President Clinton will host the next meeting of the Clinton Global Initiative University (CGI U) at the University of Miami from Friday, March 6 - Sunday, March 8, 2015. This meeting is free to attend and will bring together student leaders and innovators from around the world. To date, more than $700,000 in funding is available for select CGI U 2015 attendees. In order to apply, each student is required to develop a Commitment to Action: a new, specific, and measurable plan to address a challenge in one of CGI U’s five focus areas: education, environment and climate change, peace and human rights, poverty alleviation, and public health. Accepted students will have the opportunity to attend the CGI U meeting, where they will hear from experts in the field, develop practical skills, identify potential partners, and formulate concrete plans of action for the months ahead.
