Clive Wynne gave credit to Pavlov and his work on the physiology of digestion which led to the understanding of conditioned reflexes, the basis for classical conditioning as a method of learning/training. Later in life when Pavlov was asked about having a monument of him built, Pavlov said to make one of his dog instead, to honor all of its work and sacrifices. A monument of the dog was made and its body was preserved and cased in the museum. Pavlov is too overlooked and is a great hero of mine.
