Close your eyes, Les, you have already heard this. Yesterday while Des was driving us out of the carport, he again told me how to park the car .When I remarked that if you drive the car out the way you drive it in, no harm will come to the car, which to him is something alike to God, and to me just a piece of metal. Not satisfied with my answer, he pointed out that I am a bit of a dreamer and may not always drive the car out that way, adding that unlike me, as soon as he got in the car, all his focus was on the road I felt like saying, Well, unlike you I can do two things at once, driving and dreaming. However, to avoid another argument (yes, it is difficult to live with a perfect husband) I kept my mouth shut. For someone whose sole attention is always is on the road, it puzzled me somewhat that Des turned the radio on immediately, a habit he has had ever since I have known him (way too long). Again, I kept my mouth shut, but just imagine my joy when Des became so involved in the radio programme that he missed the light turning green. I wanted to shout, Yes! And pump my hand in the air, but instead innocently said, the light has been green for a while, but I am willing to wait until you have finished listening and turn your attention back on the road. However, people will soon interrupt by starting to blow their horn! Poetic Justice! Yes!
