Vacancy Description Reporting to the Store Manager you will be responsible for serving customers, processing orders and re-stocking according to the store policy. You will receive in store training and work towards achieving an BTEC Retail Knowledge & Skills qualification (this will also be through the training provider Academy of Music & Sound). You will learn to and complete the full range of skills in selling music instruments, books and accessories from greeting a customer; identifying their requirements; advising on the best product for their needs (including ordering any item out of stock); taking payment; issuing a receipt or invoice and packaging goods to take away or arranging delivery. In addition you will learn about and operate the store ICT and till systems including receiving stock from manufacturers/distributors, stock control and pricing. A focus of your role will be to ensure a high level of customer service.
