Closing my Diary This week has been one of those fly everywhere weeks. As we run up to Christmas there are too many demands on time and too few hours in the day. You know when you start scheduling 15 minute meetings that it has got ridiculous. Hence to the ritual need to close the diary and say no more ...until next year. That moment has arrived. Here is the week I have just survived and the week ahead..... Sunday - fly Brisbane to Sydney Monday - all day ANZAC Cultural Fund committee meeting, Corroboree Festival panel Tuesday - 1/2 day committee meeting, fly Sydney-Brisbane back to back meetings about Youth Ensemble, Casting, script developments, diary planning, flights and notes for meetings, Finance update, Board meeting and Xmas Board dinner Wednesday - Fly Brisbane to Sydney facilitate an all day forum on Indigenous festivals, partners birthday dinner Thursday - all day festivals forum again, wrap up and start typing notes Friday - Fly Sydney to Gold Coast for an all day meeting for committee to consult on the Cultural Precinct and arts and cultural strategy, Fly Gold to Melbourne Saturday (today) - Haircut, meet with Monash University to create an educational resource for Black Diggers, meet with Steve Visard about his WW1 play, see a show at Malthouse Sunday - Fly Melbourne to Sydney, attend Parsons lecture and hear Ralph Myers talk about Artistic Directors. Monday - meeting at the Australia Council, Fly Sydney to Brisbane, do Graduate Auditions, Pick up Tim Finn from the airport, have a xmas dinner with programming team Tuesday - Ladies in Black development Wednesday - Fly Brisbane - Sydney for an all day Australia Council meeting Thursday - speak at the Walkeys Conference, Fly Sydney to Brisbane meet about redesigning the Bille Brown Studio, meet with a series of writers and artists, have donor dinner do Night With the Artists after GASP! Friday - Logan City of Choice Committee Meeting, Ladies in Black session, Youth Ensemble Sleep Over Saturday - Youth Ensemble Breakfast duty, Ladies in Black showing Sunday - GASP! closing, family meeting Monday - Dead Puppet Society session, Arts Qld meeting. Tuesday - Flight to LA. Not Bragging, Im Lagging.
