Clothing styles come in and out of fashion. Styles from different decades and eras come in and out of style, too. While I dont begrudge the younger generation trying to emulate what we wore in our youth, I feel it will always lack a certain something that recreation never can attain. That doesnt make it bad...just not quite there. That said, since we have a son in high school, I have been seeing more and more (mainly girls) try to pin down the early 1990s look, especially grunge. They dont quite have it down yet, so allow me to offer just a bit of help. Yes, it was a massively popular song and yes, there may be better examples out there, but ladies...watch, look at what your forebears wore and take notes. :) (P.S. - Guys should pay attention, too!)
