Clouds on the horizon – the Cotswold variety that is, with Stroud’s premier event only six weeks away today! With this in mind, I attach a short video clip taken this year on Crooked Mustard by Rob Boulton, a friend of my passenger Graham Penny. It might be of interest to any new competitors who don’t know the layout, since it was taken from quite an unusual position and shows most of the section from just after the start to beyond the main step. Regrettably, it does not provide tactical advice to the newcomer since we failed this year. Back to preparation for the Exeter ….
