Clouds over Big Peach Country...Had a great time at the wedding yesterday...Everything went great Congrats to Hannah and Kevin! When I got home I immediately turned on the Little League World Series to see the game I missed between Chicago and Las Vegas. What a game! I did not think there was anyway the kids from the Midwest could hang with a bigger, more talented team that had just beaten them by the 10 run rule just a few days prior. But boy was I wrong...They played great and pulled out a victory. What a great event for a town that hasnt celebrated a baseball champion since 1959...It is also great to see a group of inner city kids rise up from their surrounding of crime and corruption to win one for the people...You will have all the politicos piling on the band wagon, but these kids, the coaches and the parents pulled this off...Also thanks to a few major league players that contributed money to get the parents to the games. Good Luck today against a tough South Korea team...
