Clouds will be on the increase late tonight as our next upper-level disturbance approaches. Light rain showers will begin to our southwest Wednesday morning and overspread much of north Texas throughout the day and end before midnight. Rainfall amounts will be less than an inch in all areas with the best of it across the north and eastern sections of north Texas. It will be a cold rain as temperatures fail to get out of the 40s. And even a few rumbles of thunder will be heard from time to time. We are very fortunate that temperatures will be cold because the lower levels of the atmosphere will be spinning like a top which would raise tornado concerns were we to be in the 60s to near 70 like we have been for the last several days. But we have nothing to worry about with it being so cold as this system passes overhead. This one timed out just right. We will get a break on Thursday, and then another round of showers for Friday!
