Club Notes Pride of place this week goes to the U-16 boys’ team which won the League on Saturday last by defeating Aghyaran. Congratulations are extended to all the players and management team who have put in a great effort during the year and thoroughly deserved this achievement. Congratulations also to the Club’s instrumental music and dancing teams which have won through to the semi-final of Scór na nÓg. Their next outing is due to be on Sunday week (17th) in Eglish. Commiserations to the quiz team which narrowly missed out on a semi-final spot despite a gallant effort. The last meeting of the Club’s outgoing Executive Committee will be held tonight (Thursday) at 8:30pm, with all members asked to be in attendance. Tomorrow night (Friday) a Table Quiz will be held in Farley’s Bar to help with the fundraising costs of seven Juveniles from the Club participating in the US Junior Nationals in California at Christmas. All support will be greatly appreciated. On Sunday afternoon the ACL programme continues for the Reserve and Senior teams when they travel to play Clogher. Throw-in times are 1pm and 2:30pm. The Annual Youth Presentation Night will be held on Wednesday next (13th) at 7pm in the pavilion. All youth players (up to and including the U-16 age groups) should attend wearing their Club colours. Parents are also invited to attend for refreshments which will be followed by the presentation. Roscavey PS has a 5 mile run & walk on Saturday morning at 11am and all are asked to support this.
