Club Statement: Salisbury City FC. Early next week Salisbury City FC will be forced to take their case to the High Court to regain complete control of the club. They also face the possibility of an FA appeal hearing due to the actions of one man. The Clubs lawyer Chris Farnell has gone on record today absolutely appalled by the situation that Mr Touzar has placed the club and supporters in. Farnell said: There has been a lot of comments made by Mr Touzar regarding the club and what he is or what he has claimed to be doing. It is about time that the fans were made aware of the serious damage that Mr Touzer has caused the club by his actions and promises, all of which have amounted to absolutely nothing. The club is now having to fight for its survival as a direct consequence of Mr Touzar, failing to make himself available in the correct legal channels. Mr Touzars continued campaign of “hide and seek” is placing the club in the position of having to face the possibility of an appeal to The FA and having to attend Court to commence legal proceedings against him while he continues to release pointless statements and hides behind numerous email addresses. The situation the Club finds itself in presently is almost unique in football history”. Salisbury CEO Paul Smith said: The legal costs alone due to the appalling behaviour of this man have crippled the club. We are, as a club fighting for our very existence. If Mr Touzar genuinely believes he is the owner of the club then where is he? His actions are those of a coward. He hides behind lies and an inflated ego of self importance. To date all he has done is stolen £4,000 out the club and released lie after lie on a free website.
