Clubs You cant Miss in Seoul If you are looking for funny ways to spend your nights in Seoul, how about going to clubs all night long? So next time you are looking for where to go to have a party, look no further~ Here are the five most popular clubs in Seoul. We just received a message from the stuff of Club Answer who said that all foreigners can have a free entrance to Club Answer! - Club Ellui Club Ellui, also known as Asia Multiplex Club, is one of the largest clubs in Asia and is currently the coolest nightspot in Seoul. Weekend lineups regularly feature international bands and DJs as well as top Korean acts: recent guests included Diplo and Gossip Girl Taylor Momsens The Pretty Reckless. At certain hours of the night, staff hop up onto the bars and dance, pouring shots into everyones mouth. The huge bouncing balls on the dancefloor will leave you distracted as you dance the night away with a few thousand other revelers. Entrance fees: ₩15,000 during weekdays and ₩30,000 on the weekends. Address: 129 Cheongdam-dong Gangnam-gu (강남구 청담동 129); cafe.naver/ellui; VIP reservations: +82 10 9111 6205 - Mansion What Mansion lacks in size, it makes up for with lashings of cool. Located in the student/indie district of Hongdae, Mansion is party central north of the river, and functions as a lounge on weekdays and as a club on weekends. Featuring chandelier lighting with a chill lounge feel -- in contrast to other Seoul clubs that prefer chaotic lighting -- Mansions atmosphere (or its lighting anyway) is on the more relaxed side, and gives off a different vibe from other clubs in Hongdae. One huge plus is that it is not as crowded as other clubs; its unusual to wait in line longer than 30 minutes. That isnt to say, though, that the parties arent wild. Dont say we didnt warn you. Entrance fee: ₩20,000 Address: 368-22 Seokyo-dong, Mapo-gu (마포구 서교동 368-220); blog.naver/clubmansion/; +82 2 3143 4037 - Club Answer Club Answer, a monument located on the ritzy Cheong-dam district strip, has dominated the electro scene in Seoul for the past few years with the likes of heavyweight acts such as Justice, Deadmau5 and Benny Benassi. Comprised of three floors, the stage is on the first floor, VIP tables are on the second floor and private rooms on the top floor. With a strict smart dress code, the bouncers at this club have a reputation for denying entry based on attire. If youre new to Seoul, this is a great place to check out. Just dont wear shorts or flip-flops. Entrance fees: ₩15,000 during weekdays and ₩30,000 on the weekends. Address: 125-16 Cheongdam-dongm Gangnam-gu (강남구 청담동 125-16); clubanswer.co.kr; twitter/#!/Club_Answer - Club Rococo Located in the basement of the small but ultra-modern Imperial Palace Boutique Hotel, Club Rococo is a party powerhouse in the heart of Itaewon. Although Club Rococo is fairly new to Seoul club scene, it created a splash from the very beginning as G. Dragon and T.O.Ps music video for High High was shot there. Befitting its Itaewon location, the crowds at Rococo tend to be the most multicultural and diverse, and is usually the last destination for the night for those out in the area. Tip: As the club is located on the main Itaewon road, traffic tends to be come to a standstill, especially on the weekends. As parking is nearly impossible in the area, it is best to come by subway or taxi. Entrance fee: ₩30,000 Address: 737-32 Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu (용산구 한남동 737-32); +82 2 790 2269; club-rococo; twitter/#!/club_ROCOCO - Eden Club Eden is probably the most luxurious dance club in Seoul, as exhibited by its motto Eden: where indulgence has no limits. Great detail was paid to the clubs unique interior design, with neon lights installed on tables, bars and ceilings as well as on the dance floor, which resembles an 18th century ballroom (apart from the loud electronic/house music). Known for its sophisticated sound system, this Ritz-Carlton club is not for the skimpy of wallet as drinks tend to be on the pricier side. Special VIP reservations must be made in order to access the clubs second floor, which turns into an exclusive party of its own within the club. Entrance fee: ₩30,000 Address: 602 Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu (강남구 역삼동 602); eden-club.co.kr
