Clutter Every attempt to get rid of the clutter drags me under: a photograph’s cold smile mocks a love’s death a scribbled note gropes for purpose. There are other things; I needn’t tell you; you’ve seen them: phone numbers without names. I shove them all into the closet’s darkness; the house continues to clutter with memory’s scraps. They are sleeping now: only if I try to get free will they awake and attack. - courtesy of Home Planet News While I prepare an e-book of my poetry for publication, I will be posting, on average, a poem a day. Once the book is published, the wordpress page where many of these poems appear, will be deleted. You can read them at michaelmcgrinder.wordpress/poems/
