Coach Brian Hales calls his Class of 2015 graduating seniors to come to the stage at Thursday nights Butler High Football Banquet ... 23 in all !! Senior Jerome Simpson leads with a big thank you to both our beautiful team mom, Rachel Cousar & to our Head Coach Brian Hales followed by Coach Hales taking the mic for some heartfelt words to his Class of 2015 graduates ... The first class that he took from their Freshman year to their Senior year as their head coach. I couldnt help but to reflect back over the last 4 years & the hard work that these guys put in ... Every drop of sweat, every bruise, every practice , every football camp in the summer withstanding 110° sweltering heat, every practice & game in 30° winter temps ... from working out & practicing year round, even on Thanksgiving Day, from celebrating the joy of victory & to learning life lessons from the agony of defeat -- watching these young men standing up there together with group hugs, tears of joy, excitement for their futures & seeing the strong bond that they have ... It was all worth it !!!! To all of our coaches, athletic trainers, to our cheerleaders, to our parents, to our community ... to everyone who helped make this experience unforgettable --- Thank You ;-) !!! With much respect, we are forever grateful ;-) !!!
